At Chelsea Reece, we take great care in creating high-quality, timeless dresses. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out, so we offer a 14-day return (store credit) and exchange policy for eligible items. Please review the details below to ensure a smooth return process.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Customers can start an exchange or return in any of the following ways:

Our team will provide instructions and, when applicable, a prepaid return label.

Returns & Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Must be in new condition, with original tags attached.
  • No signs of wear, stains, alterations, or damage.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Final sale items
  • International orders.
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for a different size or style within 14 days of receiving your order. If the desired item is unavailable, you may receive store credit.

Store Credit

If eligible, store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card to use toward a future purchase.

Return Shipping

We offer free return shipping for up to 2 exchanges per order. Afterwards, the customer is responsible for shipping costs. Chelsea Reece is not responsible for lost packages.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We stand by our craftsmanship. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please email crew@chelseareece.com within 48 hours of delivery, and we will make it right.

Chelsea Reece First Dress Guarantee

(First-Time Customers | US Only | In-Stock Dresses Only)

What is it?
Your first Chelsea Reece dress should feel risk-free. If you do not love it for any reason, you can exchange it (up to 2 times) and still be eligible for a full refund.

Eligibility

  • Applies to first-time customers only (first order under the customer’s email and shipping address).
  • Order must be placed on or after Feb. 16, 2026
  • Applies to customers in the United States only.
  • Applies to in-stock dresses only.
  • If a first order includes multiple dresses, the guarantee applies to one dress only.
  • The guaranteed dress will be the highest-priced eligible in-stock dress in the order.
  • One-time use per customer/household.

Time Window

  • You have 14 days from delivery to start an exchange or return.
  • If you exchange, you have 14 days from delivery of the exchanged item to start the next exchange or return.

Free Return Shipping

  • Return shipping is free for First Dress Guarantee exchanges and returns within the United States (we provide a prepaid return label).

Exchanges and Refunds

  • Customers may exchange the guaranteed in-stock dress up to 2 times and still be eligible for a full refund if they decide to return.
  • After 2 exchanges, the First Dress Guarantee refund eligibility ends.
  • After 2 exchanges, we can still help, but it will be exchange or store credit only.

Item Condition Requirements

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
  • Tags attached.
  • Free of stains, odors, damage, deodorant marks, makeup, and pet hair.
  • Try-ons must be indoors only.

Exclusions

  • Any pre-order, made-to-order, custom, or backordered items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Final sale items (if applicable).
  • Orders shipped outside the United States.
