The Leading Lady in Countryside is reminiscent of whimsical adventures and daydreams. The Countryside pattern transforms us to a simpler time full of open fields and carefree afternoons. This beautiful blue floral is the perfect backdrop for a picnic, a bike ride, or an afternoon with friends. We hope you join us for a sunny afternoon in the Countryside. 

The Leading Lady dress features a corset back along with a side zipper. The side zipper helps the dress maintain its shape, while the corset back can be adjusted to best fit your silhouette. The Leading Lady dress contains synthetic horse hair netting (not from real horses) under the skirt to maintain its shape and allow for maximum twirl-ibility. This change makes the dress not only more affordable, but also more practical for daily wear. The Journey has built-in bra cups, a scoop neckline, our classic four way stretch underskirt, and, of course, pockets.

Shipping Information

At this time, all pre-order dresses are made to order and take approximately 6 months to ship to the customer. Once the dresses pass final inspection and are recieved at our warehouse, orders will be shipped out in chronological order.

Returns & Refunds

We allow 14 days for exchanges or store credit on domestic orders.

International orders: All sales final. No exchanges or returns.

Absolute love!!

My dress came just in time for my senior pictures (will be posting soon) it twirls so nicely and the underskirt isn’t tight and I can walk up stairs stress free! Pockets are great, fabric is great, the Chelsea Reece team really thought of everything! Can’t wait to order more from them!

The Countryside is the most free I ever felt.

When I twirl with the countryside on, I feel like I'm waving a flag in the air with how the skirt sounds.
It feels magical in a different way compared to their linen dresses.

Putting this dress on feels like stepping into a Studio Ghibli world. It reminds me of Kiki's Delievery Service or Howl's Moving Castle.
