The Classic Dress is a mini style with a zipper on the back. It has built-in shorts with two pockets on the sides, along with two more pockets on the outside of the dress.

The Classic is a tweed dress with the outer shell consisting of 70% polyester, 20% cotton, and 10% acrylic. This dress’s underskirt is made of 100% polyester. Lastly the built in shorts are 88% polyester and 12% elastane. Due to the fine material, these dresses are Dry Clean only or hand wash, line dry.

I’m in love with this dress! It’s super cute with built in shorts. Fits great!

True to size and it looks so beautiful!! They were super nice about turn around time too.

Not for petite women.

For context, I am 5'3, 36in bust-29in waist-39in hip. I ordered a size 6 according to the size chart.

If you have full hips/bottom like me, this dress is not for you. I had to cut out the built-in shorts to be able to put the dress on over my head because I cannot get it up past my hips. I also had no need for the shorts since the dress comes down mid-thigh since I am petite. Oh, and because I had to cut the shorts out, the dress is now itchy where there is no lining.

Once I finally had the dress on, the fit from the bust upwards was awful. The neckline keeps gaping at the back seam and the neckline. I suspect the issue is that the waist of the dress sits lower than my natural waist because when I pin the straps about 2inches above my shoulders, the fit is much better although the neckline is now choking me. If you're petite with a long torso, this might not be an issue for you.

I love the way both of my Princess Puff dresses fit, so I was super disappointed how bad the fit was for me with this one. The return policy is currently no refunds, so I'm stuck with an uncomfortable and ill-fitted dress. My only option is to hopefully alter the straps and neckline, but for the price, that's pretty frustrating.

That being said, the concept of the design is wonderful and the fabric is great quality. And fit issues aside, the dress is made very well.

For more fitted styles like this, please add hip measurements to your size chart as well as height/length.

Such a beautifully made dress and it was perfect for my birthday! Fit was a little snug on top but overall it looked and felt great.

Amazing Dress

This dress is absolutely perfect! It’s a bit more pink than my phone screen made it appear which was great news. This is my first Chelsea Reece dress and I was worried that the built in shorts would be uncomfortable but they’re light and stretchy and fit great. I used the size chart when ordering and feel that it gave me the correct fit. Since I am 5’3” the dress came closer to my knees which makes it perfect for work.
